With guidance from PWRDF’s Indigenous Program Advisory Committee, the Indigenous Responsive Grant Fund was launched in August 2021 to respond quickly to funding needs and priorities identified by Indigenous communities and organizations in Canada. Since then, PWRDF has funded 13 projects with a total of $226,150.

These projects are aimed at healing intergenerational trauma, youth suicide prevention, COVID-19 response, culture and language preservation, traditional environmental protection, teaching Indigenous knowledge practices and knowledge sharing about Indigenous food and medicinal plants.

YOUR GIFT of $200 to PWRDF’s Indigenous Responsive Grant Fund will contribute to the continued support of Indigenous-led community initiatives.
