Borehole well
In Zimbabwe, borehole wells provide clean water to the community. A narrow shaft is drilled 60 to 80 metres into the water table. The water flows into a 10,000-litre tank, then into pipes that supply water to households for domestic use, or for livestock. Solar panels provide power to pump the water. One borehole costs $21,000, but you can help!
