Changing harmful behaviour is only possible when people at all levels of power are part of the process. At Help Lesotho, training sessions for community leaders, teachers, police officers and healthcare providers address the culturally entrenched issues of gender-based violence experienced especially by girls and women. Through the training process, participants understand and accept their responsibility in supporting women and girls’ mental, emotional and physical health and safety.
